ChildrenThe library offers many types of programs for children of all ages throughout the year.  The following are descriptions of some of these programs.  Please check our Calendar of Events for specific dates and times.

Lapsits

Storytime for 1-3 year olds and accompanying adults. The second Monday of each month, Sept.-May, 10:15-10:45 a.m. No Registration.

Birthday Parties

During the month of their 1 year old birthday, children can come to the library to receive a free board book. The third Monday of each month, Sept.-May, 10:00-10:15 a.m. (Summer birthdays can come in May or Sept.) No Registration.

Toddler Times

Storytime for 2 year olds and accompanying adults. Two sessions--one in Fall and one in Spring. Usually 10:00-10:30 a.m. Advance registration is necessary.

Preschool Storyhour

Storytime for 3-5 year olds. Three sessions--Fall, Spring, and Summer. Usually 11:00-11:45 a.m. Advance registration is necessary.

Summer Reading Program

A summer reading program is held each summer for preschool through 8th grade.

Special Programs

Special Programs are planned throughout the year often during "No-School" days.
