Kids come to the library and enjoy a movie.  Movie starts 2:00 p.m.

Brown v. Board of Education

Tuesday, February 19, attorney Trygve Meade will be at the library to present Brown v. Board of Education.  Trygve will discuss this landmark case related to school segregation and the history behind the court's unanimous vote.  The program starts at 6:30 p.m. in the library program room.

Ken Zurski

Author and radio personality Ken Zurski will be visiting the library Thursday, February 21, at 6:30 p.m.  Ken will be discussing his new book, Unremembered.  Copies of the book will be available for purchase ($18.95) and signing at the program.

Brooks Carver Program

Brooks Carver will visit Parlin-Ingersoll Public Library Tuesday, April 9, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. to talk about his new book, Daughters of the Steppes.  This book is about the mostly unknown women in the Night Bomber Regiment of the Soviet Air Forces, dubbed The Night Witches by German troops.  Copies of the book will be available for purchase […]

Blood Pressure Check

Helping Hands Home Healthcare and Elysian Hospice will be providing free blood pressure checks at Parlin-Ingersoll Public Library on Friday, April 12, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.  You can also enter to win a door prize.  If you have any questions, please contact Ronda Randolph at 309-357-1113.

Movie Night

A family friendly film about Fred Rogers, our favorite neighbor, will be shown at the library.  The movie is from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

JW Wheeler

Jonathan Wheeler, Canton Class of ’77, will visit the library Thursday, May 9th, from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  He will talk about writing, books, and his time growing up in Canton.  His books will be available for purchase ($10 per book) and signing at the event. Summer Reading Registration

Registration begins today for summer reading 2019!  Please register by visiting the library or by calling 647-0328.  Registrations will not be accepted via email, text, or Facebook.  Check our calendar for a complete schedule, or check out the SRP Flyer.

Maker Mondays

All are welcome to stop by the library any time between 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Mondays during summer reading to make a craft.  Stop by the program room and participate in our weekly crafting fun!
