“Rather Be Reading” Book Club
The library hosts the “Rather Be Reading” Book Club from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on the 1st Wednesday of the month. All are welcomed to attend. The current titles for discussion are:
- Sep. 3rd, 2025: Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books by Kirsten Miller & Bright I Burn by Molly Aitken
- Oct. 1st, 2025: All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker
- Nov. 5th, 2025: The Sunflower House by Adriana Allegri
- Feb. 4th, 2026: Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury & Fahrenheit 451 (FILM)
- Mar. 4th, 2026: The God of the Woods by Liz Moore
- Apr. 1st, 2026: Happy Land by Dolen Perkins-Valdez
- May 6th, 2026: How to Age Dis-Gracefully by Clare Pooley
